Wallpaper usual maximum width is around 110cm which makes it suitable for scanning in tmac. Coupled with fact that most wallpaper surfaces are tiled, it is possible to process these scans to be homogenous and keep the rich nuances.
See TMAC Samples page to have a look at wallpapers samples scanned. Even wallpapers with metallic or anisotropic properties scan quite well thanks to unique TMAC Software features for tile replicability while retaining texture movement.
Seamless tiling for wallpaper is done by determining tile size that usually ranges from small 5x5cm tiles to bigger even non square tiles. Then there are also wallpaper manufacturing techniques which makes them never tile and always unique.
We understand tiling and uniqueness of wallpaper and automatically choose correct method to do Seamless Tiling.

Fashion and clothing industry. While tmac is not directly targeted at this Industry, it is still possible to utilize it do to scans of smaller swatches.
It is important to keep in mind that tmac is a texture capture device and it requires Material Authoring after scanning. This makes it less suitable for bigger quantities of small swatches.
Detail and nuance of more zoomed in area (300mm) of tmac is high and can be comfortable to use in some cases.
More suitable option where tmac is utilized completely is scanning of whole pieces of clothing. This can be used for asset digitization.

Wood
With tmac scan area of 1,3 x 1,3 meter it is suitable to scan wooden planks and boards that are up to that size. Check TMAC Samples page to see scans of woods.
It is usual that there are longer wooden planks available especially for flooring. In this case texture stitching can be though of as a solution but we would discourage from that because of complexity.
Another problem is weight - wooden parts are heavy and pricy to ship.
That is also a reason why we are developing a mobile TMAC Linear that will be capable of scanning long planks on site.
